The racket we worked on this time.
Wilson Ultra Tour Tennis Racket released in 2017.
At the time of its release, it appeared with the slogan ‘Redefining Power Racket’ and the modifier IMPOWERFUL. It’s stronger than the blade and softer than the probe.
Detailed specifications are 305 grams of racket weight and 97sq in racket size.In, string pattern 18×20. It’s a denspattern racket, so it’s a good fit for a control-oriented club member.
This time, the customer has another racket and says Wilson Ultra Tour is a good fit.
I want to keep using Wilson Ultra, but it’s not in good condition, so he wants to keep it clean.
Before custom
There are a lot of wounds all over the racket frame.
It’s like you’re dealing with a racket very harshly.^^
The racket frame is scratched a lot. It seems like you’ve been swept away by the floor that hits a lot of low balls.
Sometimes these rackets come in. Most people seem to focus on the play without saving the racket.
There are also many scrapes on the top of the racket frame.
There are four lead tapes attached inside the racket frame.
I was going to put some weight on the head of the racket.
As you asked me to increase the weight of the racket by 5 grams while customizing, so I measured the weight in the middle of the work.
Customizing
The picture on the left is a picture of measuring weight after removing the bumper and grommet. It came out about 292 grams.
The lead tape is attached to the head of the racket now. The lead tape weighs about two grams.
The picture on the right is a picture of the weight measurement after sanding. It weighs about 9 grams less than 283 grams.
Since there are so many wounds, it seems to have been sanded to the bottom of the frame.
The picture on the left is the picture after painting the surfacer. It increased by 4g to 287g.
The picture on the right is a weight measurement after painting. The final 293g came out.
It’s increased by 1g from the weight before the work. It is an increase of about 3g from the weight after removing lead tape.
If you attach 2g of lead tape here like before, the final increase of 5g will be made.^^
Custom Completed
Wilson Ultra tennis racket is the only one with a glossy tour version.
I worked with a glaze because I wanted it to be glossy this time.
The base color is the same color as the red version of the Reaver Cup.
You asked me not to put the logo in, so I just colored it without anything.
Strong red color and smooth gloss is cool.
If you see him play, you’ll believe it even if it’s the Wilson Prostaff Reaver Cup version.
It feels empty because it doesn’t have a logo on the neck of the racket, but it’s also cleaner in a way.
The painting was done well in the Wilson Ultra Tour tennis racket Reaver Cup version.
