What’s important to gamers is a mouse, a gaming headset.
Earphones are often used to listen to music or play mobile games outdoors, but Gaming headset must be worn when playing games on a PC, especially FPS games.
It doesn’t matter much in the beginner section, but as you build up your skills, the importance of sound increases, and it becomes important to recognize where the bullet flew from and where you hear the footsteps.
So I think if the number one device for gamers is a mouse, the number two is a gaming headset. So in this posting, I’m going to share what I felt while using the Logitech G933 that I introduced in the last posting for a little longer.

G933 Battery
For wireless headsets, the most important thing to care about is also the battery.
This product can be used for 12 hours on a single charge and 8 hours on LED. But in fact, the duration I felt when I was using it felt a little shorter.
The biggest reason I felt that was because I left the power on even when I wasn’t using it, so I thought I’d cut down on the actual hours by consuming a small amount of batteries.
So I tried to play the game again with the headset on, but it didn’t work, and I turned it off and on, and it was connected again, but the battery condition needed to be charged at 1%.
USB receiver
With the exception of the built-in USB receiver, we have connected the included charging cable.
However, this cable is not used to connect to the PC, it can only be used for charging.
Therefore, both USB receiver and charging cable must be connected to connect the dead-battery Logitech G933 to the PC.
Of course, you don’t have to connect the charging cable to the PC, you can use a separate charger, or even an auxiliary battery.
3.5mm cable
However, if you connect the included 3.5mm cable to the PC and use it, you can still hear it with Logitech G933 even if the main body doesn’t have a battery.
However, if you want to use this method and use the sound settings including DTS Super Stereo mode in G-HUB, we recommend that you connect the USB receiver described earlier to the main body, connect the headset wirelessly, and charge it with a separate cable.
Of course, this is a convenient way to connect to a tablet or smartphone that supports a 3.5mm jack.
G HUB
Logitech’s games recommend Gaming headset because you can use a G HUB program that allows detailed setup, including macros.
The biggest advantage is that programs that run can be automatically recognized and used to change preset profiles.
Equalizer and sound settings
For each program, you can change the macro key function that is set up, or you can set the equalizer and sound settings differently.
If you look at the Equalizer settings, you can select one of several settings, including FPS, Cinematic, Communication, Low-pitched Boost, and you can set the Equalizer yourself to find the right sound.
DTS super stereo mode
The biggest benefit of using this gaming headset when playing games is that you can tune this DTS super stereo mode.
In particular, we can balance the sound of the front and back, and the most important thing we should be concerned about when playing FPS games is when enemies appear from an invisible perspective and attack.
Overwatch, a game that I often play, plays the enemy’s footsteps louder than our feet, and if you set it up above, you can hear the enemy’s footsteps approaching from behind, so you can be prepared in advance.
The side-tone
Another useful setting for G HUB is the side-tone feature.
This function lets me hear what I’m saying again, so I can not only check immediately if the microphone is working properly, but also check the volume according to the settings. Of course, if you press the microphone mute button on the headset itself, this function will not work.
Microphone
In case of Overwatch, you can use the microphone function that is open in the settings to deliver your sound to the other person at all times without pressing a specific button.
One of the most convenient things about using Logitech G933 built-in microphones is that even when you play with an open mouse setting, the sound of pressing and clicking the mouse is filtered out of itself, and only when you speak, your voice is heard.
Of course, if you knock hard on the keyboard, the microphone will work, but unless you’re really upset when you play, you don’t have to worry about it.
At the end
It supports a 2.4 GHz wireless connection that is fast and stable enough not to feel wireless, and the satisfaction of the quality of the DTS X sound and built-in microphone was satisfactory enough to dare call it cost-effectiveness.
However, I think it would have been more cost-effective and convenient if we had used USB-C type or supported wireless charging rather than using micro 5-pin cables that had a distinction between top and bottom.
The winning and losing of the game is not only about mouse control, but also about the surroundings through gaming headsets.
It is no exaggeration to say that Logitech g933 is the standard for gaming headset.
